To update the activity last week , me and angelo divide it in two sessions , in which some of the activities undertaken at the date of 19,20 and 23 were written by me as follows :

 

1.activities carried out on 19 of them are at 7 ; 30 we met Paul Jadin Regional Investment Plan Program manager which share information about the planning done by them against all regional planning , whether it's about urban planning , project planning and other related regional development planning and urban development planning Middleton in particular . We also share about the development of Timor Leste is currently planning aspects of short, medium and long with some of the priority sector by the government of Timor Leste. other than that in general we also give an overview of the Country Profile of East Timor to Mr. Paul to be used as a reference .

 

2.City TIF meeting.

 

 

At this meeting one of the consultants presented the draft design of the proposed project by the City of Middleton to the next in the present to the City of Council for approval .Here we get a reference to the system of bureaucratic coordination and implementation of a project .  

 

3.Urban and Regional Planning

 

This meeting presented on Workforce which discusses the Housing Affordable housing needs assessment dane county municipalities. The housing worforce presented by the consultant for further consideration by the city administrator and his colleagues and then proceed to the City Council.
References are generally required to be taken from this meeting to the next for the future of local government of East Timor is how City Council selects proposals submitted by the consultant to then be submitted to the City Council. Interesting thing also is taken as a technique it is transparent to all members for considering its good and bad proposals submitted by consultants

 

Activity on the 20th

1. visit one high school in the town of Middleton

 

 

This visit was facilitated by a student named Allen Opitz were very interested in the exchange program administered by ICMA.
Activities performed on this visit is.
a. see some of the facilities such as: Drum Band, Library, and other stadium.
b. meeting with the school principal to discuss the coordination with the local government school, business school with parents and other extracurricular activities.
c.meeting with one class to provide some information about the general information of East Timor. Students interested in the development of education in East Timor which is very much different from education in the United States, both in terms of facility and the quality of education.

1. Council Meeting

 

 

The meeting discussed several things including
on tourism, finance and one of the highlights of the city council meeting on that day is a gift certificate of appreciation to the Fellowship of East Timor and several other staff City Hall approved by all City Council.

 

 

 Activity is on 23

1. visit the city of Chicago

 

 

 

 

 

 about 3 hours drive from the city of Chicago Middleton to the destination, among others Tower in the city of Chicago, and other tourist attractions around the city of Chicago. This activity is intended for refreshing of the activities already carried out two more weeks in the town of Middleton.

2. American players theater "Alcestis"
   it is an activity that is very interesting to further determine the world of art related to theater. This activity is very interesting because the players are very professional plays like the fact that this art happening in the community.
