As part of its two-year program, members of the Leadership ICMA Class of 2014, also referred to as the “Centennial Class,” were grouped into teams to complete capstone projects prior to graduation. The informative capstone presentations, including a Prezi, were featured at Sunday’s session “Rapid–Fire Capstone Presentations.”

Four communities that benefited from the teams’ work were Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (strategic approach to partnerships); Decatur, Georgia (traffic calming efforts); Lee’s Summit, Missouri (central building services and vehicle maintenance); and Milton, Georgia (preservation of open space).

Projects can be found at icma.org/leadershipicmacapstones and using the conference app (at: Schedule, Sunday, 12:45 PM, Leadership ICMA 2014, and click on the handouts button).
