ICMA has established its first two international student chapters, at Kardan University in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. ICMA now has 40 student chapters that help engage and excite young people about professional local government, connect them with members, and strengthen ties between practitioners and professors.
