Join us at ICMA’s 100th Annual Conference in Charlotte/Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, September 14-17, and help us celebrate our centennial anniversary!

Opportunities to celebrate ICMA's 100th birthday will include:

• Proudly sporting the commemorative anniversary conference lanyard and duffle bag, which you’ll pick up at the conference registration desk.
• Unveiling the official ICMA video at the Opening General Session on Sunday, September 14.
• Taking a stroll through history in the anniversary gallery in the ICMA Exhibit Hall, which will feature dozens of photographs, memorabilia, and artifacts + a special “Then-and-Now” visual presentation. The gallery will be this year’s #1 stop to learn more about the history of ICMA and the profession and to pick up freebie anniversary giveaways.
• Learning what the profession and ICMA was like “back in the day,” what they both could be in the future, and what issues will have an impact on which direction they go in a very special conference session, “That Was Then; This Is Now. Hey, What about Tomorrow?” This thought-provoking discussion among ICMA past presidents, mid-careerists, and early professionals takes place on Tuesday, September 16, from 2:00-3:10 p.m. in Room 207, Meeting Room Level, Charlotte Convention Center.
• Watching for special anniversary content in the daily ICMAtv programming.
• Purchasing anniversary-branded premium items—key chains, logo shirts, caps, business card holders and more—through the bookstore in the ICMA Store in the Pavilion.

• Attending the biggest birthday party in ICMA history, the ICMA 100th Anniversary Celebration, on Tuesday, September 16, from 6:00-11:00 p.m. at the North Carolina Music Factory. This amazing event will feature dueling DJs, food trucks with local cuisine, and a performance by the Commodores. The price is only $35 for adults/$25 for youth including dinner, entertainment, and transportation. Details will be available in your final conference program.
