"Giving Tuesday" — a global day when people around the world come together to give back and celebrate generosity —takes place on Tuesday, November 29. In recognition of this day, ICMA salutes the individuals and organizations that have supported our educational efforts over the years by contributing to the Fund for Professional Management or the Life, Well Run initiative.

This year, ICMA combined these two donor-supported efforts into a single giving opportunity, the Future of Professional Management Fund. The new fund supports all the work of our previous educational efforts, including:

• Advocating for professional local government management.
• Supporting  adoption and retention of the council-manager form of government.
• Raising public awareness about the profession.
• Inspiring a new generation of future local government leaders.
