Tuesday, December 1, is "Giving Tuesday": a global day dedicated to giving back when people around the world come together for one common purpose—to celebrate generosity and to give. ICMA would like to honor the occasion by saluting the individuals and organizations that support its Life, Well Run campaign and the Fund for Professional Management.

The generous donors that support these initiatives have made an investment in the future of the local government management profession and the communities it serves. The Life, Well Run campaign’s efforts to educate and promote the value of the profession with students, elected officials, and other key audiences would not be possible without donor support. Neither would the Fund for Professional Management, which for the past 30 years has helped communities seeking to either retain or create a professional management position.

ICMA would like to honor those who already support these outreach efforts by offering them thanks and gratitude. We’d also like to invite every ICMA member to join the ranks of our generous donors. Please consider making a gift to Life, Well Run or the Fund today. Not just to mark Giving Tuesday, but to help preserve the profession, so it can continue to aid in building strong, sustainable communities for years to come.
