Elected officials come and go, serving only as long as their terms permit. Professional managers provide consistency. As appointed, nonpartisan, and nonpolitical officials, their job tenure often encompasses a number of election cycles and changes in administration.

A new video released by the Life, Well Run campaign explains how professional local government managers help create a business-friendly environment in Lake County and the villages of Glenview and Woodridge, Illinois. “Businesses and Professional Government Managers: A Partnership that Works” features business and civic leaders, including:
