The Town of Oro Valley received an Award of Excellence in Graphic Design for its 2013 Marketing Brochure from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA). This national award, which seeks to recognize “projects and concepts that showcase creative talent and design that also perform essential communication functions,” was announced at the 3CMA National Conference on Sept. 5, 2013.

“This distinction is a testament to the quality of work Town staff is producing, not only with this brochure, but also with the website, ads and other marketing materials,” said Communications Administrator Misti Nowak. “There’s a tremendous amount of talent in Oro Valley.”

Created entirely in-house by Communications and Economic Development staff, this brochure is an impressive snapshot of life in Oro Valley, and it has been instrumental in reinforcing the Town’s brand and recruiting new businesses, employees, guests and potential residents. It was also one of the first pieces of collateral material to include the Town’s new tagline: "It’s in our nature."
