NACA will offer one Dave Krings Scholarship stipend for emerging practitioner students or recent graduates to attend the 2025 ICMA Annual Conference in Tampa/Hillsborough County, Florida, October 25-29. Applicants must be NACA members and can join NACA after applying for the scholarship opportunity.
This is a stipend-based $1,500 scholarship awarded after written acceptance and confirmation of registration for the conference. The awardee is responsible for paying their travel expenses up front. NACA will disperse the stipend once awardee accepts and confirms registration.
The scholarship recipient will be required to write a summary of their experience for publication in The Journal of County Administration and possibly ICMA’s PM magazine and to participate in at least one Idea Exchange.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 16, 2025. The awardee will be notified May 23 and must accept by May 30.
J. Thomas Lundy Scholarship
NACA will offer one J. Thomas Lundy Scholarship to attend the 2025 ICMA Annual Conference in Tampa/Hillsborough County, Florida, October 25-29. Applicants must be NACA members and can join NACA after applying for the scholarship opportunity.
The scholarships includes $1,500 to cover reimbursements related to the conference. The awardee is responsible for paying their travel expenses up front. NACA will reimburse travel expenses after the event has concluded.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 16, 2025.
Cal-ICMA Scholarship Opportunities
Cal-ICMA is offering four scholarships to attend the 2025 ICMA Annual Conference in Tampa/Hillsborough County, Florida, October 25-29, including two full scholarships (each at $900 travel reimbursements and free conference registration), with one full scholarship for a military veteran, and two partial scholarships (each at $450 travel reimbursements and free conference registration).
Scholarship recipients are required to post three social media posts during the conference and write a brief blog post for the CAL-ICMA newsletter.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 29, 2025.
