The ICMA Executive Board will now award six months of executive experience credit toward meeting the requirements of becoming an ICMA Credentialed Manager upon completion of the Mid-Career Managers Institute (MCMI) or the Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP).

The MCMI and the ELDP are open to ICMA members and nonmembers and provide an opportunity to benefit from a focused professional development program, which includes attending a regional summit and the ICMA Annual Conference (registration fees included in MCMI dues).

Each program features a Management Application Project that benefits the community, the organization or the profession and receives oversight by an ICMA Credentialed Manager.

And for early-career professionals, the Young Professionals Leadership Institute (YPLI) is designed for young professionals, students, and those new to the profession who are interested in building their leadership skill-set through the art and practice of leadership. YPLI is held in each region prior to the 2014 ICMA Regional Summits. Visit the website for more information and to register.
