The ICMA Executive Board has set the following agenda for its November 21-24, 2013, meeting in Savannah, Georgia:

  • Engage in strategic discussions on topics of importance to the organization and to the profession. The November/December board meeting each year focuses on a few strategic issues. The topics for this meeting:

-Task Force on Financing ICMA recommendations to offer a new dues structure with a goal of encouraging the next generation of members to join ICMA.
-Proposals on the future of the Voluntary Credentialing Program.

  • Approve the charge, composition, and timetable for a leadership task force.
  • Review proposals for the future direction of two ICMA programs: Center for Performance Measurement and ICMA Publishing.
  • Review recommendations from the Task Force on ICMA's 100th Anniversary and approve plans for ICMA’s 100th anniversary celebration.
  • Review the first quarter financial report for FY2014.
  • Receive an update on the Life, Well Run campaign.
