Esri, ICMA, and Mind Mixer cosponsored Hackstock for #LocalGov on Saturday and Sunday before the the ICMA Annual Conference in Charlotte. The City of Charlotte and the Code for Charlotte Brigade helped host the event. The hackathon brought in web developers and computer programmers from the Charlotte area to work on creating new apps for local governments. Judges for the event were:

- 2nd Prize ($1,500) - TJ Kolleh for “Opifex” app for business site selection
- 3rd Prize ($1,000) - Chris Welsh for “Say Something” app for 911 reporting
