Support for the Life, Well Run campaign continues to grow. Since fundraising began, the campaign has received $431,992 in contributions as of September 4, 2012. An impressive 92.6% of donations came from members including state associations; the remaining 7.4% came from nonmembers. Every dollar contributed is put toward furthering professional management and your support is appreciated.

ICMA would like to recognize the following states for their recent contributions to the Life, Well Run campaign:

• North Carolina City and County Management Association donated $54,000 in August 2012

• Florida City and County Management Association donated $50,000 in June 2012

• Virginia Local Government Management Association donated $40,000 in June 2012.

Life, Well Run State Fundraising Challenge Update

• At the close of the fiscal year, Virginia (124%), Minnesota (109%) and Wisconsin (102%) have surpassed their fundraising goals.

• Florida (93%), Texas (85%), Indiana (81%), and Nebraska (79%) aren’t far behind the leaders in achieving their fundraising totals.

• Tennessee (56%) and South Dakota (53%) have made a strong start in their state’s fundraising activities as well.
