Maybe you won’t find Sasquatch at the Seattle Aquarium, but you will find a unique species collection within six major exhibits: Window on Washington Waters, Life on the Edge, Pacific Coral Reef, Underwater Dome, Birds & Shores, and Marine Mammals!

Filled with more than 400 species of marine life, the aquarium is home to playful river and sea otters, comical sea lions, luminous moon jellies, and the largest species of octopus in the world. View underwater critters from every angle.

The exhibit’s main attraction is a 120,000-gallon aquarium designed to replicate the seascape around Neah Bay, a richly populated marine environment at the northwest tip of Washington State. Look through a stunning 40-foot, 55,000-pound viewing window to see salmon, colorful rockfish, vibrant sea anemones, and other native Washington marine life, as well as divers who take to the water three times each day. Enjoy the 360-degree view from the Underwater Dome . Expand your knowledge of waters beyond the Pacific Northwest and see unusual creatures from around the world at the Ocean Oddities exhibit. Take a virtual trip to the tropics at our Pacific Coral Reef exhibit. And kids can get up close to touch live sea creatures in the tide pools and walk under jellyfish in their arched tank!
