Twenty ICMA members were able to attend the 99th ICMA Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, thanks to scholarships through ICMA's conference assistance scholarship program.  Nineteen scholarships were awarded in the categories of Young Professionals, Workplace Diversity, Small Community with Limited Financial Resources, and Members in Transition. One additional scholarship was awarded to a graduate student in memory of Kansas University professor Edward O. Stene.  All scholarship recipients received complimentary registration to the conference and many also received a monetary stipend to off-set additional conference related expenses.
