This is the 2010 nomination of Westminster, Colorado's Strategic Planning - Process and Implementation program for the Strategic Leadership and Governance Award. City Manager J. Brent McFall is credited with helping redesign their strategic planning process from one with annual goals to one incorporating long-term strategic planning. The current plan is based on five goals with corresponding objectives and action items, along with a subsequent action plan.
