ICMA recently launched its regional peer support calls to provide members with a confidential space to connect, share challenges, and exchange practical ideas with colleagues across the profession. Based on strong participation and positive feedback from the initial calls in March, ICMA has now established a monthly schedule for each U.S. region through September 2026.

These “members only” conversations are designed specifically for ICMA members in service to local government and offer a trusted environment for candid discussion. As many leaders continue to navigate increasingly complex and often challenging environments, these sessions provide an opportunity to stay grounded, gain perspective, and learn from peers facing similar issues.

To extend the value of these conversations, participants will also be invited to join region-specific groups on ICMA Connect, ICMA’s online community. These groups will be limited to registered participants, allowing members to continue confidential discussions, seek input, and support one another between calls.

Confidentiality is central to this effort. These sessions and related ICMA Connect groups are intended to foster open, respectful dialogue among peers who share a commitment to professional local government management.
