The National Association of Counties (NACo) is developing a study on the health benefits offered by county governments, in partnership with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.  As part of the study, University of Georgia is doing a survey of NACo members to collect information on this topic. The survey will provide accurate information, tracked over time, to which counties can refer as they plan for health care benefits. In addition, it will help NACo identify the pain points for counties with providing health care for employees, especially after ACA implementation.

Earlier this month, many NACA members received an email from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia titled “NACo seeks your opinions on Health Benefits” asking for your participation in this survey of health benefits.

We encourage you to have the survey filled out by Friday, March 28.

Feel free to forward the survey request to another person in your county administration that would be a good fit to respond to the survey within the allocated time and CC: survey@uga.edu

The link to the survey is individualized for your county and can be used ONLY ONCE to submit the survey.

If you have any questions about the survey or the schedule of release of the study, please contact Kirk Heffelmire, NACo research associate at research@naco.org or 202-942-4243.
