Summit Community Solar (SCS) was a community-driven and local government-supported initiative designed to increase the adoption of residential photovoltaic (PV) solar in Summit County and Park City, Utah between January and November 2013.  SCS combined the financial incentives of bulk purchasing with a streamlined permitting process, contractor preselection, and a robust community outreach effort.
