The City is seeking a Deputy City Manager who will oversee and participate in all activities and operations of the City. This position regularly interacts with the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Council and departmental representatives in coordinating projects and information. Successful performance of the work requires knowledge of public policy, municipal functions and activities, including the role of an elected City Council, and the ability to develop and implement projects, programs and legislation. The Deputy City Manager will be a vital member of the City’s Executive Management Team. The culture of the management team is strongly cohesive and supports open communication and mutual respect.

A Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of management or administrative experience in administration and/or City government is required. Master’s degree is highly desirable.
