Our full-time team is supplemented by subject matter experts in other geographic areas.

What does a TNCG analyst do?
Our analysts work well independently and as a part of team. They have the ability and the confidence to assess complex and sometimes ambiguous local government service delivery problems and help senior consultants frame practical plans for improvement. Our analysts are excellent writers and can communicate effectively with employees from every stratum of a local government. They also travel approximately 25% of the time in support of our senior consultants.

An analyst’s typical responsibilities include:
• Best practice research
• Staffing and workload analysis
• Data analytics
• Survey development and analysis
• Recommendation development
• Report writing

Who is the ideal TNCG analyst?
• The intellectually curious
• The naturally analytical

• An independent worker who is productive even without constant or immediate supervision
• Has experience or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies

The ideal candidate also has some direct experience in local government and a master’s degree in public administration or a related field.

What do we offer?
If you’re hired, in exchange for your passion and effort, you’ll get a competitive salary and great benefits that include health insurance, a 401(k) with a match, nine paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Our primary team members are committed to making this a meaningful opportunity, so we’ll cultivate and encourage your professional development.

More importantly, you’ll develop a breadth and depth of experience and knowledge in local government operations across all departments.
