The City of Stockton is hiring a Program Manager III – ERP. The incumbent will serve as a business process improvement leader for the City’s Enterprise Resource Planning System, work with City Departments to understand and map internal processes that are conducted through the ERP system, lead discussions on a Departmental and Interdepartmental level to improve processes related to the ERP system, analyze Department processes and make recommendations for streamlining processes shared by multiple Departments, oversee all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives to the ERP system, and analyze and monitor implemented changes to business processes and make adjustments as needed.
This incumbent will need to have the knowledge or ability to learn the ERP system and features, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and learning styles and to explain complex processes in simple terms. This incumbent will also need to have strong interpersonal skills including motivating and supporting staff through challenges as well as understand Change Management principles in a public sector setting.
The incumbent will work a City of Stockton 9/80 schedule: 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday; 8:00am - 5:00pm Fridays, with every other Friday off.
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration or a closely related field, or the field of the program to which assigned, and four (4) years of experience managing or supervising highly visible programs or projects with major departmental or citywide impact.
