Join us in Jaipur, India
ICMA’s International Regional Conference is a celebration of the amazing things taking place in our communities around the world. This year, ICMA will be visiting Jaipur, India.
In addition to the regional conference, there will be optional events including a site visit to Agra or a study tour to Ahmedabad (February 16-18). You can choose only one event if you want to extend your trip after the regional conference ends (each optional event will take place at the same time, so you cannot participate in both). All U.S. citizens need a valid passport and valid Indian visa to enter and exit India for any purpose. Please visit US Department of State’s website for details about the requirements.
You can either get an e-visa (citizens of certain countries including U.S. are eligible for e-visa) or apply for a visa at an Indian Embassy. If you are eligible, e-visa is recommended since the process is easier.
You can check here for details of e-visa.
If you need to apply for a visa at an Indian Embassy, please note that you must apply through a travel agency, CKGS (check CKGS website for details, www.ckgs.us). Indian embassies do not handle visa applications directly (by walk-in or by post / mail).
Non- U.S. citizens, residing in the US can still apply only on the CKGS website (www.ckgs.us).
If you reside in a country outside of the United States, please contact the appropriate office or Embassy in your country for information on obtaining a visa.
