International Management Exchange Program is Accepting Applications
Since 1979, the International Management Exchange Program (IMEP) has provided opportunities for ICMA members to expand their horizons by collaborating with their colleagues from around the world. The program consists of exchange visits between in-service U.S. members and their counterparts from one of ICMA’s international affiliate organizations. Participants learn about management and service delivery practices in their exchange partner’s country through experiencing the day-to-day professional and after-work activities of the host. Applications are accepting on a rolling basis. Apply today!
Brownfields 2019 Call for Ideas
Join us at the next National Brownfields Training Conference in Los Angeles, CA, December 11-13, 2019, with pre‐conference programming December 10. We invite you to submit your ideas for dynamic educational sessions that encourage conversation and participation from your fellow attendees. A great Brownfields 2019 educational program will motivate brownfields stakeholders to engage, learn, and share their experiences and knowledge of community revitalization challenges and solutions. 2019 Annual Conference Scholarship Opportunities
As part of ICMA's ongoing commitment to attracting a wide and diverse group of people into the local government management profession, developing and mentoring early-to-mid-career professionals already in the field, and helping members working in smaller communities, ICMA offers scholarships to the annual conference through its Conference Assistance and Stene Academic Scholarship Programs. Applications to apply are now open and will close on June 10, 2019.
