CHANGES IN WOMEN LEADING GOVERNMENT

WLG is now 10 years old, and many of the organization’s original policies and practices are no longer current. The Board decided that it was time to look at our processes and align the Bylaws with operations. To create efficiencies, we have refined the number of Board members, created an Advisory Board, and set a two-year limit on Board membership. This means we want more involvement from our membership.

During this October’s WLG election, we will vote for a new Board and then implement the new Board structure. This first year will be a transition to the new structure.

Before we can hold the Board election, your voice is needed on the proposed Bylaws changes. Check your email in the coming weeks for an individual survey, asking you to vote on the revisions to the Bylaws.  Please take the time to read the proposed changes and vote your preference for the new Bylaws.  If you have any questions regarding the Bylaws, please contact me by email at
