Anna Maria Chávez, one of the world's top experts on women's leadership and youth development, draws from her 25 years of public service and nonprofit leadership to teach teamwork, inclusion and diversity, resiliency, leadership, and self-motivation. Her keen insights and dynamic presentations have inspired thousands of individuals around the globe to lead authentically and helped organizations work together more collaboratively and create dynamic impact.

An attorney, inspirational speaker, writer, and community leader, Anna Maria most recently served as chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of the USA. Throughout her career, she has focused on her desire to transform the world through service and inclusion. In 2016, Anna Maria was named by Fortune magazine as one of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders and was named number 22 by Fast Company in its annual list of the most creative people in business.

Propelled by a lifelong desire to transform the world through servant leadership, Anna Maria’s career of public service led her to becoming the first woman of color to lead Girl Scouts of the USA as CEO, where she was cited for her vision and creativity in working to revitalize the organization’s brand for a new century. With a message centered on True Moral Leadership, Anna Maria’s keynote examines what it takes to empower women and girls into leadership positions.
