Spending too much time and money on in-person trainings and other professional development activities? We thought so. ICMA's webconferences offer a cheap and easy way to train you and your staff across departments and at your own convenience.
Live Webconferences
For one small fee, you and your staff can watch and listen to our webconferences and ask our experts your toughest questions! These training events focus on specific management/leadership issues important to local government, providing practical solutions, strategies, and insight. Speakers include local government officials, consultants, and ICMA staff that have expertise on the particular subject.
There is no limit to the number of staff from your office participating in a webconference. In the room where staff will participate, all you need is a speaker phone and a computer. One registration fee gives you a unique access code for one phone line and a link to the web component. Please note: Additional phones lines require additional access codes, which means separate registrations for each additional access code you need.
These events address one or more of the 18 core areas that are essential to effective local government management and can be used to retain ICMA Credentialed Manager status.
On Demand Webconferences
On Demand Webconferences are a convenient way to “attend” webconferences on your own schedule. When you register for an On Demand Webconference, you’ll receive a link to access the archived event online for 90 days. This allows you and your staff to view the webconference at your convenience.
