The ICMA Center for Sustainable Communities is a network of staff, members, consultants, and content partners that are focused on the intersection between sustainability and local government management. The Center relies upon a core team of staff to manage funded projects and provide subject matter expertise on many topics. Additionally, the Center draws upon the expertise of ICMA business lines including ICMA International, Survey Research, the Center for Performance Measurement, the Center for Public Safety Management, and the Center for Managerment Strategies.
The Center stays engaged with ICMA members through a Sustainable Communities Advisory Committee. ICMA members from around the United States and the world serve on the committee for multi-year terms.
We also leverage the expertise of consultants, peer organizations and business partners to carry out our work on projects of importance to local government managers and professionals.
