ICMA has had extensive, on-the-ground experience in more than 70 countries. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., ICMA has extended its global reach by establishing ICMA Latinoamérica in Guadalajara, Mexico; developing a partnership with the Urban Management Centre in Ahmedabad, India; and partnering with a Chinese university to form the ICMA China Center, based in Beijing. For each long-term program, ICMA maintains one or more offices in the country.
