Bitung - Coos Bay, OR (Resource Cities)

Coos Bay and Bitung focused their partnership on city–port land use planning coordination, conflict resolution and developing a marketing plan for the city of Bitung. The fifth exchange of the partnership took place in September 2002 and focused on port marketing and development. As a result, training on marketing uses for Web sites was conducted, local Rotary contacts were identified, a proposal structure was developed, and framework for the marketing plan was developed.
