Pasir - Coquille, OR (Resource Cities)

The main objective of the partnership between Pasir and Coquille was to improve Pasir’s strategic planning process by improving administrative procedures, developing methods of forest protection, improving relations between potential investors and local indigenous communities, and developing mechanisms for public participation and empowerment. The fifth exchange of the partnership, which took place in October 2002, focused on forestry regulations, public participation and job descriptions/organizational restructuring.
