ICMA / Priorities / Fund for Professional Management / Donor Recognition

Fund Supporters

Those of us here at ICMA - and in those communities where the Fund has worked - are so grateful to the ICMA members, associations, local governments, and others who have donated. Each gift you make, or encourage someone else to make, enables us to continue our important work of explaining and promoting the role and value of professional local government management in communities around the country.

In order to more fully recognize the contributions from Fund supporters, three recognition categories have been established:

  • Planned giving. The Community Builder’s Legacy Society recognizes those people who have designated the ICMA Fund as a beneficiary in their planned giving.
  • Annual giving (calendar year). Announced in ICMA’s PM magazine each April. Individuals are organized into five giving levels: Leader ($1,000+), Benefactor ($500-$999), Contributor ($250-$499), Supporter ($100-$249), and Donor (up to $100). Organizations are organized into five levels as well: Leader ($5,000+), Benefactor ($2,500-$4,999), Contributor ($1,000-$2,499), Supporter ($500-$999), and Donor (less than $500).
  • Cumulative giving: Announced at ICMA’s annual conference. Individuals are organized into four levels: Platinum Donors ($5,000+), Gold Donors ($2,501-$5,000), Silver Donors ($1,001-$2,500), and Bronze Donors ($501-$1,000).

We extend a speical thanks to these ICMA members, each of whom has designated the ICMA Fund as a beneficiary in their planned giving, thereby becoming a member of the Community Builders' Legacy Society:
