The 2012 virtual conference live event takes place during the annual conference, October 7–10.
ICMA will broadcast live over the Internet streaming video of 21 educational sessions including all four of the keynote sessions (schedule):
Keynote Sessions
Sunday: Sir Ken Robinson “Leading a Culture of Innovation”
Monday: Edward Schumacher-Matos “Immigration Reform: Truths, Myths, and Politics”
Tuesday: Jim Collins “Great By Choice”
Wednesday: Janet Echelman “Revitalizing Urban Spaces with Public Art”
Your virtual conference registration allows you to watch any of these sessions live, and view the ones you don’t watch live as on-demand content. Visit VIRTUAL CONFERENCE HOME for details.

One full virtual conference registration fee allows your staff to view the live sessions over the Internet, in one conference room. After the live event, you can schedule training and discussion sessions using the archived virtual conference sessions until December 31 (the four keynote session recordings are available for two weeks after the event). Your staff gets access to 21 professional development training opportunities for as little as $299 (ICMA members), $399 (nonmembers) when you register by September 28. After September 28, the price is $399 for members and $499 for nonmembers.
Visit the Virtual Conference at icma.org/virtual for details and registration information.
