Nannette Rodriguez, public information officer for the city of Miami Beach,Florida, has led the city’s social media efforts over the past 5 years.Nanette has overseen the city’s internal and external communications efforts since 1995, which includes media relations, publishing (print and electronic), graphic/visual design, public relations and marketing, crisis communications, and employee communications. Her team has earned national and statewide recognition for their accomplishments.
Michelle Bono is the assistant to the city manager and director of communications for the city of Tallahassee, Florida. Her communications and marketing strategies encompass citizen involvement initiatives, media relations, government access television, social media, publications and Internet services. She is best known for her innovative and citizen-focused outreach efforts on behalf of the city, and the ability to achieve measurable results.

ICMA University webconferences are available "on demand," allowing you and your staff to view the presentation at the convenience of your schedule!
Events are available to order as an On Demand event a few days after the live event. Plus, you can order other events at the same time.

How the Webconference Works
Before the event date, you'll get an e-mail reminder that includes a toll-free
number and your unique access code, and link to the Web component. This e-mail
will also include a link that you can click on to test your connection and make
sure you have the latest version of Flash player on your computer. On the day of
the webconference, your staff will listen to the webconference on speakerphone
and watch the presentation on the Internet. In the last 30 minutes, you'll get a
chance to ask questions directly to the speakers during the Q/A session.
Please note: Additional phone lines require additional access codes, which means
separate registrations for each additional access code you need.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your registration up to 48 hours in advance of the webconference,
and transfer your registration to a future webconference without penalty. If you
do not transfer your registration, you must cancel no later than one week prior
to the webconference date to receive a full refund of your fee.
