ICMA Individual dues

If the city pays for the dues of our current City Administrator ($938) and she quits in one month are they transferable? Thank you - I need to know the answer prior to 5P on Tuesday when I have to vote to approve.

Thank you for your question. ICMA Membership is not transferable from one person to another. As a professional association, ICMA membership belongs to the individual, not the employing organization, even if the local government has decided to pay for that person’s membership dues. If you wish to establish a membership for someone else, applications are available online at http://icma.org/join.
