Can anyone lead to me to some excellent examples of tactics used to recruit a diverse groups of citizens to serve on boards and commissions?
We have not done this but it is something that we are trying to put together in our community which is very diverse. We are in the starting phases of putting together a diverse leadership academy with the goal of developing leaders in the various cultures that can then get involved in local government.
I know there are examples out there of this type of academy - some are just leadership based but they would work with a little modification.
