The City of River Falls WI Fire Department has provided service to the community for 125 years. The Department is noted in the area for its high level of service and lower relative cost. This is a credit to the members of the Department and partnership between the City and the Rural Fire Association. A critical component that contributed to the success of this partnership was their ability to identify potential barriers and address them by implementing a strategic process that would allow them to increase operational efficiency with fleet, fund a full-time Fire Chief and ensure long-term funding stability.
