This is the 2010 nomination of Wake County, North Carolina's Wellness Program for the Strategic Leadership and Governance Award. HR Director Elaine Johnson, IT Director Elizabeth Warner, and County Manager David Cooke are credited with developing many effective health promotion programs in order to curb increases in premiums.
