This research report presents findings from the Michigan Public Policy Survey, an ongoing survey research program targeted at the chief elected official and the chief appointed official in every unit of general purpose local government in Michigan. This report focuses on local government fiscal conditions and the actions jurisdictions are taking to respond to the growing fiscal crisis.
