ICMA’s Community Sustainability Award recognizes the innovative local government programs or processes that demonstrate creativity in balancing that community’s social, economic, environmental, and cultural needs. ICMA’s Community Sustainability Award in the 50,000 and greater population category goes to the city of Davenport, Iowa, City Administrator Craig Malin, and Assistant City Administrator Dee F. Bruemmer for the Green City initiative.
