The Town of Platteville partnered with the local school district and created an intergovernmental agreement that allows them to share information about juveniles. By sharing this information staffs from the town and school districts were able to develop a comprehensive safe school plan that included: parenting classes, youth mentoring classes, before and after school programs, and school attendance and truancy programs.
