The Kidsbuild Project is a community partnership between the City of Oak Park and the Oak Park School District. The City purchased a fire damaged duplex, and through the partnership, high school students from the Oak Park School District helped rebuild the building. Then rehabilitated building was then sold off and any money from the sale that exceeded the rehabilitation costs went into a fund that would finance similar projects.
