Staff from the City of Mountain View wanted to create a water reserve but there was no land to build a reservoir. The City solved its problem by partnering with a local middle school, and through this partnership, the City built a water reservoir underneath the school’s athletic field in exchange for agreeing to construct and maintain a new field.
