Download: City of New Braunfels’s Comprehensive River Efforts (DOC, 33 Kb)
The Comal and Guadalupe rivers run through the City of New Braunfel. During the summer tourists often raft in the rivers, yet they often pollute them with trash and other debris. To address the problem, the City Council appointed seven members to the River Activities Committee (RAC). RAC recommended: river access improvements, trash clean up efforts, increased police presence, and hiring a river manager and river rangers.
