The journey began at ICMA in Washington, DC in December of 2008 during the orientation session on Leadership in the Public Sector with Bob O'Neill and Felicia Logan. It does not end tonight but is celebrated by graduation. The members of the Class of 2010 set a goal to be the "best of the best" and have been challenged personally and professionally in ways that none of us could imagine when we met on that cold winter day almost two years ago. The Class answered the call and indeed have gone above and beyond to leave a legacy and ensure the viability of participation

2010 ICMA Annual Conference Blog
The awesome 2010 class of ICMA Fellows met on Sunday to begin a great journey together. Kelly Spivey, a member of the first class of ICMA Fellows and now employed as a Human Resources specialist by the City of San Jose added her special high energy brand of leadership along with Rob Carty, creative and dedicated ICMA Next Gen Manager.
