  • City Administrator, Eric Ziegler has created a plan to save money by dissolving the City of Maricopa, Calif.’s police department. The responsibility of law enforcement coverage will be moved to the Sheriff’s office. (KERO23
  • Dean Brookshier has accepted a new position as the County Administrator for Clay County, Mo. (The Kearney Courier)
  • The Minnesota Intelligent Rural Communities Program has awarded a grant to the City of Worthington, Minn., that will be used to simulcast the local WGTN-TV 3 channel on the Internet. City Administrator Craig Clark says the new system will help make local leaders and government more accessible to the entire community. (Daily Globe)
