CIGNA Mobile Learning Lab -- Don't Miss It

The CIGNA Mobile Learning Lab is in the exhibit hall.  The best part is that it educates, informs – and it's fun!

I checked out the CIGNA Mobile Learning Lab (MLL) last night in the exhibit hall. Very informative and hands on!  The MLL is new and travels  across the United States.  It uses interactive techniques to help people like me learn more about health.  This is information that I can use -- such as how to read/understand food labels; how our own communities impact our health; and how much stress is put on our bodies by adding 20 pounds!  Mobile Learning Lab visitors are challenged to think of ways to inspire or influence healthier lifestyles in their community and how they can use this knowledge every day.

I was fascinated at the portion of the CIGNA Mobile Learning Lab looking at the personal aspects of health and featuring interactive kiosks with the stories of twelve individuals. The interactive programs help connect the external influences and the personal influences on health, which may result in obesity, hyper tension, insomnia, etc.  Each of the stories shows how each of us can make changes to improve our health.

The last area is the Learning Wall, where I could write down my thoughts and ideas about health -- as well as offer suggestions to CIGNA about how they could help people improve their lives and health. When I left the CIGNA Mobile Learning Lab, I felt informed and educated about wellness and was encouraged to take steps to improve my own health.  This was really fun.  I highly recommend that you take the time to visit while you are the conference!
