Summary: Incumbent guides the implementation of the City's Strategic Plan by reviewing approved Goals and Objectives, coordinating the development of resources to achieve success in reaching Objective milestones, and reports on progress toward Goals achievement. The Coordinator uses a variety of analytic metrics, data analysis, and related tools to assist departments in overcoming obstacles to Objective fulfillment and Goal success. The position reports to an Assistant City Manager, but has frequent interaction with the City Manager and City Council.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field; Two years of experience in a long-range planning function such as economics and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
