Area Descriptors

  • Number of lane miles of road maintained
  • Total maintenance costs expended during the most recent fiscal year for the lane miles noted above
  • Number of days each year with freezing or snow conditions
  • Do you maintain interstate highways?

Indicators

  • Cost per capita

  • Percent of lane-miles in satisfactory condition

Housing

Indicators

  • Number of additional low/moderate income housing units provided with public financial assistance as a percentage of housing need in the most recent program year
  • Number of rehabilitated housing units as a percentage of substandard housing units, as identified in the jurisdiction's HUD-approved consolidated plan

Parks and Recreation

Area Descriptors

  • Population served
  • Total park acreage broken down by types of parks
  • Numbers of parks and recreation facilities broken down by major categories

Indicators

  • Cost per capita
  • Total earned revenue per capita
  • Full time equivalent staff per capita
  • Total maintenance cost

Refuse and Recycling

  • Total number of individual residential accounts
  • Site of collection
  • Crew size per vehicle for normal residential collection

  • Total cost per individual residential customer served
  • Number of tons of recycling materials per account

Code Enforcement

  • Average response time in calendar days for initial inspection of code violations for the most recent fiscal year
  • Average time in calendar days for progressing from inspector's report to either voluntary compliance or the initiation of administrative or judicial action
  • Percentage of code violations brought into voluntary compliance prior to initiation of administrative or judicial action
  • Number of code violations resolved per full time equivalent code enforcement personnel
  • Cost per code enforcement case
