Brownfields 2011 Headed to Philadelphia

The 14th National Brownfields Conference, cosponsored by EPA and ICMA, is headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 3-5, 2011. This one-of-a-kind event is the largest, most comprehensive conference in the nation focused on environmental revitalization and economic redevelopment.

Brownfields 2011 offers:

  • Over 100 educational sessions, including lively panel sessions, dynamic discussion-based roundtables, and inspirational film screenings
  • Numerous professional development opportunities
  • Outstanding networking and business development opportunities, including the Brownfields Transaction Forum and Exhibit Hall
  • Mobile workshops, walking tours, and volunteer activities to see Philadelphia’s redevelopment at ground level.

The conference will provide a forum for training, research, and technical assistance to communities to facilitate the inventory, assessment, remediation, and redevelopment of underutilized and potentially contaminated sites, otherwise known as brownfields.
